Handles are pulled, dried and attached by hand — the slowest step in the studio.

We fire these in the gaps between larger pieces — the kiln hates empty space.

Flat pieces are the hardest to fire without warping. Calma took eleven attempts.

Named by a customer who only ever used it for dessert. The name stuck.
